Tailor-made automation for crisis management

During the COVID-19 pandemic, cantonal health departments faced the challenge of processing thousands of contacts in real time. Many cantons used the SORMAS system for this purpose, which, however, required high manual coordination efforts for specific administrative processes. pargoo subsequently developed the CT software – a highly flexible desktop application for intelligent data processing.

Originally initiated by our co-founder Tobias during his civil service for the Canton of Glarus, the software was professionalized by pargoo and successfully implemented in the Cantons of Obwalden, Nidwalden, and Uri, as well as in the Principality of Liechtenstein.

Increased efficiency through partial automation

The software closed the gap between standard systems and individual cantonal processes. By automating repetitive tasks, personnel resources could be deployed significantly more efficiently:

• Automated data import: Seamless reading of new index cases and contact persons directly into the system.
• Intelligent synchronization: Continuous reconciliation of personal data to ensure data consistency.
• Document automation: Automatic creation and dispatch of official orders via email and SMS.
• Process logic: Technical support for complex tasks, such as shortening quarantine periods based on cantonal requirements.
