Choosing the right life insurance policy is a matter of trust and often requires personal advice to avoid over- or under-insurance. For Policy Pal, pargoo developed a tailored digital solution that drastically simplifies getting started with this complex topic. Featuring an intuitive premium calculator and a seamlessly integrated booking funnel, we bridge the gap between digital self-service and personalized expert advice.

The Challenge

Users tend to drop off quickly during complex online insurance applications when asked for too much data upfront. At the same time, advisors need detailed background information to create a well-founded, customized comparison. pargoo's task was to design a UI/UX experience and technical workflow that engages users in just a few clicks, builds trust for providing more detailed input, and ultimately leads straight into booking a consultation.

Approach & Implementation

We handled the entire project for Policy Pal - from concept and UI/UX design to full-stack development:

• Low-Barrier Premium Calculator: We built an ultra-clean interface that allows users to get an initial, simple comparison based on minimal input (such as age and smoking status). This significantly lowers the barrier to entry.
• Smart Inquiry Funnel: When users request specific offers, a user-friendly form guides them through capturing additional details. Policy Pal uses this data to prepare a personalized, tailored comparison over the following days.
• Native Calendly Integration: To complete the journey without breaking the user experience, we deeply integrated the Calendly API into the application. Immediately after submitting the form, users can book their video call. The customized comparison is then presented directly in this personal meeting - ensuring advisors get clients covered just right.

With this new setup, Policy Pal has a high-performing lead generation tool at hand. The clever mix of an ultra-simple initial interaction and a direct transition to personal advice delivers high conversion rates and optimal end-customer support.
