Data Visualization: Making Complex Research Data Intuitively Tangible

On behalf of the team led by Prof. Simon J. Evenett (HSG), pargoo designed and implemented the "Crux of Capitalism" platform. The goal of the project was not only to make the extensive research findings on global corporate health accessible but also to make them interactively comparable through modern visualizations.

While the doctoral students at the SIAW Institute are responsible for the well-founded data preparation, pargoo focused on the User Experience (UX) and interface design. The result is a clear, highly functional user interface that enables the seamless comparison and export of data across all devices – from desktops to smartphones.

Dynamic Content Management & Scalability

To perfectly unite scientific work with the technological platform, we implemented a flexible architecture:

• Interactive Frontend: Development of an intuitive interface for visualizing corporate data.
• Strapi CMS Integration: To allow the research team to manage weekly updates and the extensive "Library" themselves without programming knowledge, we integrated the user-friendly headless CMS Strapi.
• Responsive Design: Optimal display of complex diagrams and tables on any screen size.
